Interpretive Signs along the Creeper
With funding from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), a series of interpretive signs were placed along the Creeper Trail in 2007. The text was written by Ed Morgan and Dr. Ed Davis, authors of The Virginia Creeper Trail Companion, along with David Winship of Abingdon. The signs were placed along the length of the trail at significant points to interpret both the natural features and history of the trail's development.
